  • What do I need for my appointment?

    • Government issued ID - driver's license, passport, etc

    • You must present a valid social security card for each person listed on the tax return or similar current IRS letter documenting your ITIN

    • Form(s) W-2, 1099 statements, 1098 statements, etc

    • Check with routing and account numbers, if direct deposit requested

    • Health care coverage documentation; Form 1095-A from the Marketplace if purchased on exchange

 

  • How will I know my tax return has been filed?

    • A confirmation email will be sent to you from the MobileTaxPreparer after your return is accepted at the IRS

 

  • How do I know my information is safe?

    • Your tax documents and important information stay in your home or office

    • With cloud-based technology, NO tax return information is stored on the computer

    • Industry standard 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption transmits your return via Taxwise Online, IRS compliant software

 

  • Can I pay my tax preparation fee from my refund?

    • No. The MobileTaxPreparer is designed for payment at time of filing

    • Accepted payment methods are cash, check* and debit card
