About the MobileTaxPreparer

Kristine Stevenson was born and raised in Port Angeles, WA. After graduating from Port Angeles High School and Peninsula College, she earned a BAAS in Applied Arts and Sciences from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX, graduating summa cum laude.

Working as a tax professional for a Fortune 500 company, Kristine realized she could be equally effective helping taxpayers 'from the other side' and applied her tax knowledge and skill working for the Internal Revenue Service in Austin, TX - as both an Examiner and an Analyst.

Kristine moved back to Port Angeles in 2013 with her husband, Joe, to be near family. Subsequently she opened the MobileTaxPreparer in 2014 and began offering a unique service; a mobile tax professional preparing and filing tax returns in the comfort of the client's home or office.

Kristine also believes in giving back to the community and currently volunteers with AARP/TCE as a tax preparer.

How does the MobileTaxPreparer work?

Simple.

After a call to 254.421.0184 to set an appointment, the MobileTaxPreparer will travel to your home or office to meet and discuss your tax filing needs.

As an Authorized IRS e-file Provider the MobileTaxPreparer combines the technology of a mobile hotspot, a Chromebook 'cloud-based' computing system, and 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology with IRS compliant professional tax software.

Depending on the complexity of your tax needs, most returns can be prepared and filed within 90 minutes. Clients receive a confirmation email their return has been accepted at the IRS.

Appointments can be made for day, evening or weekend. The MobileTaxPreparer accepts cash, check* or debit payments only.  Payment for tax preparation service cannot be deducted from the anticipated refund.

Sean Williams, The Motley Fool, January 11, 2015

Don’t let this be you!

"Without adequate support, many taxpayers will be frustrated, some will make potentially costly mistakes... Still others will simply give up and not file.”
